Exciting times, today is the day (3rd October) that children vote for their school councillor. Manifestos have been written, campaigns run and after today is the wait until Wednesday for the results to be announced. Good Luck to everyone.

The new Councillors are;
2H Freddie Forsyth’s, 2P Isabella Bailey, 3A Avi Patel, 3W Jenson Wakefield, 4CB TJ Robinson, 4 O’S Lauren Harris, 5H Olivia Pinches, 5V Anna Tyler, 6H Mya Harvey & Jack Crewe and 6M Lilly Davies & Harry Ball.

School Council have noticed an increase in litter around the school and in the dining room. As it is The Big School Clean Up next week (starting 22 March) they wanted to educate their peers about putting litter in the bin.

School Council 2017-18

There was a lot of excitement and nervousness on Friday 6th October when it was time for classes to vote for their new school councillors, especially for Year 2s who were doing it for the first time. Manifestos, poster and campaigns have all now been concluded and the secret ballot has taken

place at the polling station. Mr Porter will be announcing the results in assembly on Wednesday and then the successful candidates will be trained at Dudley Council Chambers on Friday 20th October. Good Luck to you all.

UPDATE

On Wednesday 9th December the School Council performed an assembly for the whole school about road safety.

The main lesson was for children to find a safe place to cross, keep looking and listening and to wear something bright. Please everyone be safe and be seen, especially on these dark Winter nights. Your School Council.
