Mrs Cowdell's children have been busy learning about painting portraits.
They have learnt how to mix tints and shades for their portraits and backgrounds.
They have then painted themselves.
Mrs Cowdell is very pleased with the hard work they have shown over the last six weeks.

2C have been ‘Painting with Scissors’ which is in the style of Henri Matisse. Children painted primary and secondary colours and then used scissors to cut out their organic shapes, the arranging them into their own composition, just like Henri Matisse!

Children in Year 2 have been learning about electricity in Science and have made circuits using wires, bulbs and batteries.

Year 2 visit to Holy Trinity Church.
The children were extremely well behaved, respectful in church and asked lots of excellent questions about Easter.
